Description

Two larger textbook crystals of light green-yellow Angeline and several smaller ones attractively set on matrix. Until the discoveries of this mineral in Peru, specimens from Canada were known as the best of the species. In general Angeline is very rare and the pieces from Canada are still among the best for the mineral, for sure in entire North America. It is one of several rare minerals we know from the locality. Kulan Kamp is only about 50 kilometers under the Polar-circle and you can dig there only for a few weeks in a year, just because it´s impossible even to reach the area. In winter too much snow and in summer when the perm-ground melts at the surface, not even a helicopter can touch the ground. So material from Kulan Camp is very rare and hard to obtain!
