Description

Euhedral octahedral carrollite crystals partially coated by black dull bornite, in a matrix of dolomite. These old carrollites from Kamoto, found in the 1950’s and 1960’s were the world-best until the Kamoya finds in the 1990’s. Collected at the locality by René Virlet, a Belgian colonist in Congo who travel back definitively to Belgium in 1968.
