All orders will usually ship within within ten days - only as registered and tracked mail. If possible orders will be shipped the cheapest - safe! - way. Unfortunately we have to add VAT to the Postage we pay to DHL and others when we ship within the EU. We also have to add a little extra fee for packing material and handling. We also have to pay fees to an agency according to the EU Packaging Regulation, even for used packaging material, which we recycle. Unfortunately we cannot rely on just 'second hand' packing material and have to buy additional material. This has become rather expensive during the diverse recent crises. Shipping fees are also subject to change by the German Post and other shipping companies we might use.
Collecting over a longer period/several consecutive auctions: - to save on shipping costs, please pay your single orders close to each invoicing and sent us a "hold" note (e.g. "I'd like to add items from future auctions"). We'll then accumulate orders (up to a sum of max. 999 €) and only charge the weight exceed postage difference (if there is one) on the next invoice or will refund overpaid fees when shipping.
The buyer agrees to have his/her personal data - name, address, phone number (if given in profile) and e-mail address - transferred to Deutsche Post/DHL or other relevant shipping companies. This is necessary for the shipping, tracking and in case of any problems with the shipping of an order. However, the seller assumes no responsibility for the abuse of data by the contracted shipping companies or their partners. Furthermore the buyer agrees that Rockhunter will store his/her data for the purpose of shipping, handling and requests related to the E-Rocks auctions and other sales. Rockhunter will not use this data for unqualified promotion and will not give this data to any other parties except for the ones mentioned above (DHL etc.) or if requested by the buyer.
Adjusted shipping conditions:
1. Because of different crises we're experiencing in the moment conditions of all sellers and shippers had to be adjusted to the situation. Economic shipping to several countries (e.g. Australia, New Zealand and USA etc.) can possibly take much longer than before. Therefore we must ask our customers for their patience.
2. Delivery conditions to ALL countries have changed during the current crises. Parcels might be dropped at your doorstep, in your garden, hallway etc. without personal contact. Please make sure you don't miss this. If you are not at home during common delivery times please make sure a neighbor or friend can receive your orders. We are not responsible for the delivery.
3. German Post/DHL has increased some of its prices. We are forced to adjust our shipping fees accordingly. Shipping fees listed with individual items cannot be guaranteed and might be subject to change during an auction. If no fees are given or buyers are not sure, they should contact us, the seller.
If the buyer misses to pick up an order and it's sent back to us, the buyer has to pay for the return shipping plus the additional shipping fees.

Rockhunter does not sell by size or weight. Sizes and weights given are just for the basic orientation of the buyer and shipment planning and might not be exact, even though we're always trying to be as exact as possible.
Photos might show the item in an enlarged or reduced dimension. Please refer to the given sizes. Please note that all photos have been adjusted – e.g., trimmed to show a certain aspect/a detail, colours adjusted, contrasts highlighted etc. to give the customer an optimal impression, while we try to stay as close to the natural appearance as possible. If it shows that photos cannot depict the natural appearance correctly we will usually mention this (e.g., all Dioptase photos will never show the rich colour and lustre of the mineral). However, the colours on other photos might be a little off too. Also, computer screens might show colours differently.
We assume that the buyer has a basic knowledge of minerals and, on the one hand, has informed himself about possible toxicity and is aware of dangers in handling them. On the other hand, he must also have informed himself about how certain minerals are to be handled and stored – e.g., about resistance to cleaning agents and solvents, sensitivity to light and the like. Rockhunter accepts no liability whatsoever for injuries, health consequences and incorrect treatment of any kind.
All texts and pictures are copyright by Rockhunter Handels UG. The buyer may use pictures and texts of the items he bought for personal use only. For commercial and academic uses you have to ask for permission.
We reserve the right to decline service to customers who have exhibited antisocial or unfair behaviour towards us or our colleagues, or people who are known to us as cheats or troublemakers. Upholding principles of fairness and decency is of utmost importance to us, and we will make every effort to prevent conflicts or, where necessary, swiftly find satisfactory solutions for both parties.
