Description

The specimen is a chunk of mixed country rock matrix including duftite, dioptase and dolomite. In cavities and recesses there is dolomite with dioptase. The dioptase is in simple puristic crystals in the trigonal habit with the dolomite in rhombic crystals with an exaggerated curved edge. The dioptase are small and gemmy.
