Description

A magnificent specimen from the Ojos Negros mines, featuring a large, well-formed rhombohedral dolomite crystal with well-defined faces and edges, on which aragonite crystallizations have formed that react to UV light. A large specimen from this mine site, a crystalline aggregate of acicular and laminar aragonite, transparent and lustrous, has formed on a dolomite matrix, enhancing the specimen's beauty. A piece of great beauty.
