Description

Very interesting historical specimen, which consists almost entirely of yellow-brown valchovite and is on a dark matrix.

Valchovite is A polymeric sesquiterpen alcohol (an amber-like mineral) and is only known from two localities worldwide. This specimen comes from the Valchov locality, from which Valchovite was first described.

Comes with a copy of the original label from around 1930 (In German, the spelling is with "W" instead of "V". The old name of the region describes exactly the location known today). Interesting rarity.
