Description

This is an absolute highlight sample and in principle impossible to obtain. It is a sample from the exploration drilling for the current Marathon Deposit. This (and other) samples were originally used to determine whether it was profitable to build an open pit or mine for the extraction of metals. Based on the current dimensions of the Marathon Deposit, it can be said that the samples rightly pointed to a successful mine. An absolute rarity with around 19 SEMS and 38 analyses. The entire report available to me comprises around 56 pages. The corresponding sample with the identifier SL3 measures 2.5 centimeters in diameter and 3 millimeters in height.

The minerals determined include Atokite, Electrum, Kotulskite, Keithconnite, Moncheite, Palladoarsenide, Palarstanide, Palladinite, Küstelite, Telargpalite, Tulameenite and Sperrylite.

Furthermore, an unknown phase with the composition Cu-Pd-Fe-Te-Bi was discovered.

The sample comes with full certificate of analysis as shown in the pictures.
