Description

Fine and interesting specimen with a large deep red ruby surrounded by vibrant green chromium-bearing montmorillonite. Visually a very beautiful combination of colours. The ruby has a length of 2.2 centimetres and shows a strong, brilliant red colour under UV light.

The specimen comes from the collection of Dr. G. Jung, who received it from G. Raade in 1979.
