Description

Excellent specimen with an elongated lengenbachite crystals in a large cavity, high in contrast on typical light matrix. The crystal has a very beautiful curved shape. Great collection specimen of quality.

Specimen from type locality. Lengenbachite is only known form six localities worldwide. The Lengenbach quarry produces the best known crystals of that mineral.

From a find in 1968.

Important note: All specimens in this auction are from the renowned collection of Dr. Gerhard JUNG (Hagendorf specialist, after whom the mineral Jungite was named). Dr. Jung was very meticulous regarding the provenance of his pieces.
