Description

Fine and large specimen richly decorated with high lustrous black melanite crystals on matrix. Melanite is a titanium bearing andradite. The area covered with black melanite crystals measures around 5 x 5 centimetres. Large specimen size.

The specimen comes from the collection of Dr. G. Jung, who received it from M. Leonardi in 1972.
