Description

You are bidding on a small cabinet specimen with a host of rare species from the famous Sterling Mine at Sterling Hill, Sussex Co., NJ. A fracture surface is lined with some really nice, sharp, rose pink sarkinite crystals, tiny barytes and unidentified copper minerals. The is also a small vug with some tiny, sharp hexagonal crystals of rare digenite. The highlight of the sample however ar the numerous, minute clusters of extremely rare retzian-Nd crystals, presenting as rosettes of reddish-brown tablets. An extremely rare species and very hard to obtain!
