Description

Prismatic crystals of lustrous, colorless to white celestine, up to 25 mm long, with partial coverage of the prism faces by small yellow sulfur microcrystals. The celestine fluoresces under UV light white at the tips and pink at the base. This specimen comes from the systematic collection of Albert Strasser and was acquired in 1968. The original collection label is included.
