Description

Lustrous, transparent, olive-green epidote crystals arranged in a V-shaped grouping of parallel crystals. Well crystallized as an undamaged, free-standing specimen. The crystal faces are highly lustrous and display fine striations. When viewed against the light, the specimen reveals its true character with a very transparent, honey-olive green color. The original collection label is present. This specimen comes from the systematic collection of Albert Strasser and was acquired in Munich in 1993.
