Description

Fluorite from the Ice Cleft with a translucent light-blue color. The surfaces are highly lustrous and display a pronounced square texture. Individual pale, greasy-lustrous calcite crystals provide an appealing color contrast. This piece was found in August 2015 in the deeper section of the large rear cavity at the Ice Cleft — approximately 22 meters from the entrance.
