Description

Extremely rare specimen of a sugilite crystal associated with pectolite and tuperssuatsiaite.  This specimen comes from a single discovery of less than 12 specimens.  The largest crystal found is at the Canadian Museum of Nature.  Collected by Gilles Haineault in 1993.  Ex-Gilles Haineault collection specimen.
