Description

Rich and colorful association from the remote sanbornite skarn of the Gun Claim in northern Canada, this specimen shows ferrrimuirite as thick, glassy brown crystalline grains in white matrix, made blue by minute inclusions of acicular cerchiaraite-(Fe). Small emerald green crystals of uvarovite add to this curious little rock.
