Description

Here is an extremely interesting and well-documented set of Lengenbach rarities as the late Horst Geuer used to take care of for his own collection.

What looks like a single, 4-mm long striated sulfosalt crystal is actually an assemblage of finely intergrown phases where at least three of the latest additions to the locality's mineralogy - argentoliveingite, incomsartorie and argentobaumhauerite - have been identified. A single, elongated baumhauerite crystal has grown on a side of the main crystal. The missing parts were used for the determination.

With printed analysis sheet, ex Horst Geuer collection, later acquired by Dr. Thomas Raber, YSC specimen no. 4178.
