Nickel hexahydrite is a naturally occurring, water-soluble mineral belonging to the sulfate mineral class. It is the nickel analogue of hexahydrite and forms primarily as a secondary mineral in oxidized areas of nickel-bearing sulfide ores. Here, the mineral forms blue-green aggregates on matrix.
