Description

Schulenbergite forms secondarily in the oxidation zone of ore deposits, especially where copper- and zinc-bearing sulfides weather. It forms under acidic to neutral, water-rich conditions, often in fissures, cavities, or as coatings on the host rock. It typically appears as light blue, tabular crystals that are curved.
