Description

Diaboleite is a lead-copper hydroxide chloride mineral with the chemical formula Pb₂CuCl₂(OH)₄. It forms secondarily in the oxidation zone of lead-copper deposits, mostly under arid to semi-arid conditions. It typically presents as intensely blue, tabular to cubic crystals with a vitreous luster. A very rich specimen.
