Antofagastaite is a rare, hydrous sodium calcium sulfate that was only officially recognized by the International Mineralogical Association (IMA) in 2019. On this extremely rich specimen from the collection of Gerhard Möhn, who discovered the mineral, the antofagastaite forms colorless to white, elongated crystals in sideronatrite. Additionally, krtöhnkite and Glauberite are present on the specimen.
