Description

Kornelite is a hydrous iron(III) sulfate mineral that typically occurs as fine-grained, fibrous, or crusty efflorescences in mines. The mineral is usually pale pink crystals, often found together with paracoquimbite and römerite. The sample is hermetically sealed and should not be opened.
