Description

Caledonite is a colorful lead-copper sulfate carbonate mineral known for its characteristic blue-green crystals. It is a secondary mineral that forms in the oxidation zone of lead-copper deposits, especially in arid climates. On this sample, caledonite forms beautiful light blue crystals together with anglesite and chlorargyrite.
