Description

Anthoinite is an aluminum-tungsten mineral first described in 1947. It is named after the Belgian mining engineer Raymond Anthoine (1888–1971). In its pure state, it is white; however, iron impurities can give it a yellowish or brownish hue. It occurs as earthy, chalky, or powdery masses.
