Description

Native gold is the natural, elemental form of the precious metal gold. It is one of the few minerals that occur in nature mostly in chemically pure form or as a natural alloy (e.g., with silver). Its color is a bright, rich golden yellow with a strong metallic luster. It does not tarnish or oxidize in air, which is why it retains its shine permanently. Native gold is extremely rare in the Dulcinea De Llampos mine.
