Description

Ramsbeckite is a secondary copper-zinc sulfate with the chemical formula (Cu,Zn)15(SO4)4(OH)22 · 6H2O It was first scientifically described in 1985 and named after its type locality, the mining town of Ramsbeck in the Sauerland region of Germany. It forms beautiful and characteristic green crystals together with linarite and serpierite on matrix.
