Polylithionite is a rare member of the mica group and, as its name suggests, one of the richest lithium minerals. Together with trilithionite, it forms the end members of the lepidolite series. Polylithionite occurs almost exclusively in highly differentiated alkali pegmatites or in hydrothermal veins rich in rare elements. Under long-wave UV light, the mineral appears greenish
