Description

Variety: Fossil Mud Lobster--Thalassina.

A fossil mud lobster from the late Pleistocene to early Holocine in age.  It is believed that they were rapidly buried during an event and the exoskeleton was replaced with calcium carbonate, strontium, and iron creating a fairly hard material.  These specimens are becoming very hard to obtain as Australian suppliers do not have any more.   The fossil is in a calcrete concretion.

Actual shipping cost will be calculated and added to the invoice.
