Description

A fine chlorargyrite specimen featuring a well crystallized mass of "embolite" set on gossan matrix. The dark olive-green crystals are moderately lustrous and reach 8 mm max. Accompanied by white cerussite and two small red garnets (pics 5 & 7). From classic Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. Very rare on the shows nowadays.

From the collection of Prof. Dr. Kurt Rossmanith, Vienna, Austria which was built up from the late 1950's to modern times.
