Description

A beautiful and crystal-rich specimen. The specimen bears very nicely formed Annabergite crystals which are transparent.

The specimen has been found in 1998 from the classical area of Lavrio at 3 km after the last excavations that had been carried out at that time in the area. The specimen belonged to the collection of a major collector of Greek minerals Mr. Antonis Veloudos. This excellent specimen is one of the very few of this size and rich crystallization that has been found over the years. In the photos we have tried to render as best as possible the crystallization of not only Annabergite but also the other minerals it bears and makes it so unique and special.

A truly rare mineral for special collections
