A charming matrix specimen from the famous Habachtal in Salzburg, Austria, featuring two emerald crystals nicely embedded in sparkling brownish biotite schist. The left crystal shows fine transparency and a rich green color, while both are well-anchored and naturally positioned within the host rock. A classic and appealing example from Europe’s only significant emerald locality.
