Description

Here we have a very attractive small matrix piece of vesuvianite from the Zillertal in the Austrian Alps. The light host rock carries dozens of well-formed, bright green crystals with a lively lustre. Their sharp faces and vivid colour create a beautiful contrast against the pale matrix. A fine and rather uncommon alpine specimen from a classic Tyrolean locality.
