Small but high-quality apatite crystal with sharp crystal edges, high transparency, and strong vitreous luster, set on a contrasting alpine matrix. The crystal is well defined and clearly exposed, showing excellent crystallization for the species from this locality. From the Knappenwand, Untersulzbachtal, Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Austria, one of the world’s classic Alpine Type Cleft localities for apatite.
