Description

Mixed lot of well-preserved fossil marine invertebrates from Bavaria, Germany, originating from classic Jurassic localities. The lot includes tubular calcareous fossils such as cupellia prolifera, ammonites including ataxioceras genuinum (Malm gamma) from the Staffelberg area, and beaniceras luridum, as well as additional assorted fossil fragments. Preservation ranges from good to very good, with clearly visible morphological details and natural surface texture. All specimens are accompanied by their original historic field labels, documenting species names and precise localities. A coherent and documented collection lot from well-known Bavarian Jurassic fossil sites. Cypellia Prolifera from Friesener Warte, Malm age (91 x 33 x 25 mm), Ataxioceras Genuinum from Staffelberg, Malm age (59 x 50 x 15 mm), Beaniceras Luridum from Ehenfeld, Malm age (35 x 28 x 15mm) and several parts of a sea-urchin from Nattheim, Malm age (up to 42mm length).
