Description

Here we have a very fine matrix specimen from Switzerland, collected at the classic locality of Sedrun. The light-colored alpine matrix hosts one dominant and several smaller, sharply formed titanite crystals, which stand out beautifully due to their intense, almost blood-red coloration.

The titanite crystals are nearly gemmy and show an excellent natural luster, creating strong contrast against the pale matrix. Their crisp crystal form and well-defined edges are typical for high-quality alpine material from this region.
