A small but very aesthetic matrix specimen featuring well-formed apatite crystals from Salzburg, Austria. The apatite crystals show very nice crystal definition, good transparency, and an attractive vitreous luster. They are nicely positioned on a contrasting matrix composed of pericline and chlorite, which adds both texture and visual depth to the piece. Despite its small size, this is a well-balanced and visually appealing thumbnail specimen from this classic Alpine locality.
