Clara Mine, Oberwolfach, Freiburg Region, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
13.8 × 11.1 × 7.5 cm
Description

An out-standing specimen for Clara mine and for the entire Black Forest area. The crystals are transperent like glass, almost colorless with just a touch of steel-blue color and partly red (caused by iron-inclusions) zoninges along the edges. The largest crystal is 38 mm on edges, which is a fantastic dimension for Clara mine. Hard to photograph transparent crystals, so please note that this piece is much better in person. Ex Robert Brandstätter coll.
