Description

A well-developed faden quartz cluster from Piz Beverin, Graubünden, Switzerland. The specimen consists of several intergrown quartz crystals showing the characteristic faden structure, clearly visible within the crystal interiors. The crystals display good overall clarity with sharp edges and well-defined terminations. Typical alpine growth features are present, consistent with formation in an Alpine Type Cleft environment. A solid and representative example of faden quartz from this classic Swiss locality.
