Description

This is the molar tooth of a baby cave bear. This can be recognized by the fact that the tooth root is not yet fully formed. The chewing surface is in excellent condition and even the smallest details are visible. The Gamssulzen Cave is famous for its fossils, but it is difficult to access and there is a strict ban on collecting there. The fossil comes from an old private collection belonging to a local collector.
