Description

Here we have an attractive specimen from Tyrol featuring botryoidal malachite on matrix. The malachite forms a continuous, flowing band along the host rock, showing well-developed botryoidal surfaces with a rich green coloration. The matrix is additionally dotted with several calcite crystals, adding structural contrast and mineralogical interest. An unusual and well-balanced specimen that clearly reflects the character of this Tyrolean occurrence.
