Description

A very attractive set of seven diopside crystals from the famous Diopsidrinne in Tyrol. Today, even small reference specimens from this classic locality are rarely found, as collecting activity there largely belongs to the past. These crystals were collected long ago and nicely represent the typical diversity of crystal habits, sizes, and surface textures known from this occurrence. A fine historical alpine set with strong locality relevance, well suited for collectors of classic Austrian minerals.
