Description

Very well-preserved ammonite on matrix from Germany. The fossil displays a beautifully defined spiral with strong ribbing and clear structural detail across the entire whorl. The preservation highlights the original morphology of this ancient marine cephalopod, with natural earthy tones that emphasize its Jurassic character. The ammonite is attractively positioned on a small piece of light-colored matrix, which provides contrast and allows the fossil to be displayed upright with excellent presence. German ammonites have long been valued for their quality of preservation and classic appearance, and this is a fine and decorative example.
