Description

Fine adularia cluster from East Tyrol, Austria. The specimen shows sharply defined feldspar crystals with well-developed faces and clean edges. Parts of the crystals are partially coated with green chlorite, creating an attractive contrast between the light, translucent adularia and the soft green overgrowth. The combination highlights the alpine cleft environment in which the piece formed. A characteristic and well-balanced specimen from this classic Austrian locality.
