Description

This matrix specimen features several well-formed grossular crystals from Austria. The light-colored host rock carries numerous lustrous crystals with a vivid orange coloration and well-developed faces. The crystals are nicely distributed across the matrix and show good transparency and brilliance. Pieces with such attractive grossular crystals are very desirable for Austrian localities and make a particularly appealing display specimen.
