Description

A very well crystallized specimen of scheelite from the Tenkergin Mine, Russia. The piece consists of two intergrown main crystals with sharply developed faces and a strong natural luster.

The crystals display a rich orange to honey colored tone, considered among the most desirable colors seen in scheelite. The surfaces are bright and reflective, emphasizing the well defined crystal form and giving the specimen a strong visual presence.

The scheelite crystals are accompanied by small quartz crystals that provide a pleasing contrast to the warm color of the scheelite and enhance the overall appearance of the piece. This combination creates an attractive matrix specimen of high quality.

Specimens of scheelite from the Tenkergin Mine have become increasingly difficult to obtain on the market, especially well developed examples such as this one.
