Description

A beautiful ammonite fossil from Russia, perfectly positioned on its natural matrix. The ammonite itself is well preserved and displays the classic spiral form with clearly visible ribbing.

Both the fossil and parts of the surrounding matrix are covered with sparkling chalcopyrite crystals. These fine crystals create a brilliant metallic shimmer and display vivid iridescent colors across the surface. The golden base tone of the chalcopyrite combined with flashes of red, blue, and green produces a striking visual effect.

The contrast between the ancient fossil structure and the later mineral growth makes this specimen particularly appealing. The combination of ammonite and sparkling chalcopyrite creates a colorful and highly aesthetic display piece that immediately draws attention.
