Description

A well preserved fossil of Gymnentone (Craginia) pizcuetai from the Lower Cretaceous, Aptian stage, Spain. This species represents an unusual extinct marine gastropod and is notable for its distinctive and strongly sculptured shell morphology.

The specimen shows a tall, turreted shell with pronounced whorls and clearly defined growth structures, giving it a very characteristic and uncommon appearance. The preservation is very good, allowing the natural form of the shell and its surface details to be clearly visible.

With its striking shape and warm natural coloration, this fossil stands out as a very aesthetic example of this rare Cretaceous gastropod from Spain.
