Description

Here we have an excellent specimen from Spain. This piece represents a beautiful pseudomorph where malachite has completely replaced the original tetrahedrite crystals.

The former crystal shapes are still clearly visible, now preserved in malachite with its intense green color. The contrast with the light colored host rock is particularly striking and highlights the structure of the specimen very well. A high quality example of this interesting mineral transformation.
