Description

Stunning two-tone black and white calcite with a clear demarcation line. These are famous calcites, often cited and published as unique in the world, from this legendary Romanian deposit. The specimen dates back to the 1990s, found in an old Italian collection. The black color is due to the inclusion of Jamesonite, another rare mineral, in the calcite. The measurements are excellent, and the quality is very high. It is stunning in person.
