Description

Undulating aggregate of pale purple charoite holding lustrous brownish-orange prismatic crystals of tinaksite, pale yellow steacyite and nice radiated clusters of black aegirine. The Murunskii Massif is the type locality of tinaksite and charoite. Under short UV, steacyite is strongly fluorescent in green, so it is easily distinguish from tinaksite, that is not fluorescent. 

Acquired in 21/3/1999 to J. Muizebelt. Ex Gustaaf collection #604, with his handwritten label.
